Some form field data not showing in the email notification I receive after a successful submission

    Some of my form fields come out blank on the confirmation email that is sent to my email address. 

    Specifically my Xbox one form.

     

    When I get the confirmation email - question 3 and 4 are blank even though the have been completed.

     

    They are also marked as required so they cannot be left blank by mistake.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I have cloned your form in order to test on my side. When I checked your e-mails, I could see that you have an issue on your Notification1.

    Your 3rd question's unique name is wrong. Also, you have deleted the 4th question from your Notification1 e-mail. Here is a how you can make correct their:

    Okay, 

     

    Thanx I will do that, but I also notice that on some of my forms the question part is missing.

     

    How do I get those back in my confirmation email?

    Could you please tell us more, on which form you have those questions missing?

    Is it on XBOX One form still? 

    Also, if you didn't do any special configuring of the Notification email you could simply re-create it and it will automatically gather all fields.

    Thank you for letting us know the form you are having issues with. With regards to re-creating the email notification in your form, you can delete the existing one

    then set up another.

    Do you mean delete the email notification or delete the form completely?

    Hello Jaco,

    No you do not have to delete form.

    Please note that when the email templates are edited, it becomes dirty. That means after editing your email alert, any changes you make in your form will not be displayed in email alerts. The best way to solve this issue is to delete the existing email alert and add a new one. A new email alert will always include all the questions of your form and that is the reason why my colleague suggested you to delete email alert.

    So to answer your question, no you do not have to delete your form but just the notification email alerts. The following guides should help you:
