Are initials entered in a form via keyboard legally binding?

I st up a form that has an e signature widget but I am finding it very difficult to use the mouse to sign it from a PC - it is not legible at all. It is much easier when signing with a finger from a mobile device. Can you please tell me if there is an easier way to get the signature when using a PC? If I change the form to have a block where the client can type in their name instead, is that legally binding?

    Thank You !

It is hard to give a specific answer on the legality of initialing forms versus signing them.  Different states can have widely varying laws on what is and is not legally binding.  I would recommend doing some research into your own states laws or contacting a legal professional.
