    Hi guys

I get an 'Account Suspended" message when I log into my jotform account. My username is "Yegalforms"

It's worth noting I downgraded to a free plan last month, however as of last Friday I could still log in?

    Can you please assist?

    Hello Michael Buggy,

Firstly, the problem is not arise from your subscription change.

The probable reason is our anti-phishing system that we use in order to detect the phishing fields and this system suspends the accounts and disables the forms which may include phishing issues. In some cases we encounter this system detect and suspend some accounts by mistake. Therefore, we will examine your forms to find the actual reason and reactivate your account as soon as possible.

You can find the related phishing topic in the Terms of Use.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hi,

Please note that your account was suspended because you have a field in your form titled "Singup" that is asking for a "password". Below is a screenshot of it:

Account suspended? Image 1 Screenshot 20

Please note that we do not allow forms asking for sensitive information like login credentials, passwords, credit card information and the likes. Please see and review our terms of use here: https://www.jotform.com/help/8-Terms-of-Use

I have also quoted the section in the terms that your form violated:

"Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the JotForm to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to credit card information and any type of login credentials. You may collect some sensitive information such as social security numbers or driver’s license numbers, but you are required to use best security practices of JotForm including SSL and Encrypted Forms features. You are solely responsible for compliance with any data protection and privacy laws and rules applicable to the sensitive information."

With that, I have deleted the guilty field in your form and re-activated your account, please avoid creating similar form fields. Repeated violation of our terms of use will only lead to your account being suspended, and possible a permanent ban.

    I hope that helps.
