    Privacy Error message from Google

Asked by enbpubliccampus on June 14, 2017 at 12:19 PM

I've been testing the option to use a "custom" URL rather than the "form.jotform.us/1234567890" default URL.  Having created a subdomain, a CNAME record with "custom.jotform2.com" it works just fine.  HOWEVER, today I got a warning message from Google Chrome (see screenshot).  How can I correct this so my users don't encounter this problem without having them click on the "ADVANCED" link, etc?

(The address was intentionally masked with asterisks *** in the graphics)

I think the issue is related to the fact that you are using a non-secure link (HTTP), turning on HTTPS should help to get rid of the message; however, JotForm does not support HTTPS while using custom domains. Alternatively, you may consider using HTTPS and embed your form using any of the embed methods available
