Is it still safe if I remove the encryption from the form?

    Hi,

Please review this guide on how to use the Encryption feature in your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

If you have an existing production data on that is currently encrypted and you have disabled the encryption feature in the form, then the encrypted submission won't be readable, it will not be decrypted unless you enable the encryption feature in your form again. However, if you do not have any encrypted submission in your form that is important or is a production data, then you can go ahead and disable it. The encryption feature is usually used if you want to make your submission data strictly secure to the point that it is mostly for viewing purposes. Other than that, our form is using SSL for securing submission and our servers are also well secured.

Please do review the guide I shared above to learn more about our encryption feature.

    I hope that helps.
