    I cannot revert my form back to the correct version

    Asked by CUF on June 15, 2017 at 07:32 AM

    Hello,

    John Benson looked at my previous question, but did not read the issue correctly and it is still not resolved:

    This form is still playing up. On the "revision history" it says it is reverted to the correct version, but then when you go into preview it is back to the messed up version?

    I don't understand what is going on, or how this has even happened in the first place? How could something go so bad?

    HOW IT SHOULD BE:

    HOW IT KEEPS SHOWING UP IN PREVIEW STILL:

    Hi,

    Our apologies for any inconvenience that has caused you. I think you want to use some HTML tags in your text fields. I would like to inform you that these kinds of changes aren't allowed. Because of this reason, you have lost your changes. I cloned your form on my end made some changes in the advanced form designer panel. Here is my result: Click here to check my cloned form

    You can clone my form on your end by following this user guide: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL

    I hope it helps.

    Please let us know if your problem persists.

    Thank you.

    Kindest Regards.

    Thank you for escalating this and looking into this, but I’m still not sure what caused the issue as I didn’t try putting any HTML tags in the text field? The only place where a hyperlink would have existed is in the terms and conditions field which is designed to have an external link? I have cloned the form, but the only thing is the T&Cs should be white writing.
    Many thanks

    To make the color of the Terms and Conditions become white, please inject the CSS code below on the widget:

    label {

        color: #ffffff !important;

    }

    In addition, I can see that the issue regarding the Form Revision history has already been forwarded to our developers. Please follow up the escalated issue on this thread for any updates: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1174146.

    Regards.
