File Uploads [Allowing Multiple Uploads]: It shows upload error upon clicking submit button.

Asked by jamiegi on June 15, 2017 at 09:12 PM

We are having recent issues with a form. Every time an attachment is submitted along with the form, a message displays that says, "Upload error. File could not be uploaded for some reason." The form works fine when nothing is attached.

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

I cloned your form (https://www.jotform.co/13191053225/) and test it on my end. The form seems working fine even when I uploaded an image on the File Upload field.

However, when I tried to submit your form in your site (http://pacificedgeawards.com/nominations/) I was able to replicate the issue.

Could you please try re-embeding your form using the iFrame embed method and see if this helps to solve the issue?  Here's the guide on Getting the form iFrame code.

Let us know if you need further assistance.
    Regards.

Hello, thank you for your response. I tried submitting the form with an attachment directly from the JotForm website and I continued to get the same error message. This would indicate to me that re-embedding the form on the website wouldn't have any effect.

I also tried cloning the form, only to get the same results. Are there any other suggestions?

Apologies for the inconveniences this may have caused to you.

I have cloned your form and I could not replicate the issue; however, it seems to be there on your form.

You may test my cloned form here: https://form.jotformpro.com/71666339089974

I understand that may not be possible to remove the current upload field on your form, but may you try to turn off the multiple uploads option and test your form to see if that helps?

You may also make these test on a cloned version of your form, if you cannot modify the existing one, this guide will help you cloning it: https://www.jotform.com/help/27-How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-your-account

I will also forward this to our second level so our developers can also help us to take a look on the issue, we will let you know as soon as we get any update about it.

    Hi,

I checked the form, you have FTP connection information. When you submit this form, this FTP connection information is used to send the submitted files to your FTP server. I guess, the stored FTP connection information may be incorrect. Could you please check that?
