Is there a way to hide empty fields in the email notifications?

    I've looked through old forum posts and a lot of people have asked this question already. I'm wondering if there have been any updates or if a member of the support team has time to help me with the coding so that only the fields that have been filled in would show up in the email responses. I do realize the support team has a lot of other work to do so I understand if no one is able to help at the moment, but I have quite a long form and this would be extremely helpful in reading the email notifications.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    We hide empty Radio Button, Check Box, File Upload, Scale Rating and Matrix (with Radio Button and Check Box inputs) fields from default Notification Emails.

    We hope to get this system improved, but there is no ETA for now.

    Alternatively, you may delete field names from notification body and just leave field {tags}. Tags will not show any information for empty entries.

    Please also note that we have an option to Auto Hide Empty Fields on Submissions page, and it is possible to forward "clean" messages from that page.

    Hi,

    We have a new feature in jotform. This is the "Hide Empty Fields on Emails" from advance tab under Preferences. Have you tried these already? Please confirm if these works in your side.

    Note: if the email alert has been edited, it becomes now 'dirty' if how we call it. Which means the said feature will not be work anymore, unless you recreate the email alert.
