I have entered a name in the "Sender's Name" section of the widget settings, however the email continues to come from JotForm. Please advise.

The title of the thread 'Email validator plugin' differing to the question on the post. I see that the Email Validator plugin is used in the form and should be working fine. Are you referring to the Sender Name in the Auto-responder email?
As I check your JotForm, I see that you have set the Sender Name as Miss 'Mill Creek Scholarship Pageants' for your auto-responder. I have tried sending a test submission to the form and I received the auto-responder with the set Sender name.
Were you able to fix the issue? If you are referring to a different form, please let us know. We will be happy to take a look again.

I think we are talking about two different things. I'm talking about the Email Validator that is one the second screen of our form.

Thank you for providing additional information. I am now able to replicate the issue with the widget on a test form. Let me forward the issue to our backend team to take a look. Once we have any information in this regard, you'll be posted here.

Four months later and this is still an ongoing issue. It makes the option unusable.

Unfortunately, the bug ticket for the widget has been canceled and the change of Sender name in the widget is no longer an option. Unfortunately, the widget will be sending the email with default Sender name and no changes are allowed. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
