Hello,
When I add a text box and trying to insert a form fields, the drop box of the form fields is empty.
Is that a bug?

You need to have the fields included in your form.
1) Add the field in your form:
2) Get its unique name: https://www.jotform.com/help/146-How-to-Find-Field-IDs-and-Names
3) Add it in the Text field:

If you will pass the data from one form to another, do the following:
1) You still need to have the fields, which you can hide through their advanced properties: https://www.jotform.com/help/434-How-to-Hide-Form-Fields
2) Still add their unique name in the Text Field.
3) Prepopulate the hidden field with the data that comes from the other form as shown on this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form
Example of the prepopulated link that is included in the first form: https://form.jotformpro.com/71705505680960?date[month]={date:month}&date[day]={date:day}&date[year]={date:year}
