Simple Embed vs embed Expression Web code

Asked by dmichaels on January 17, 2011 at 09:05 AM

http://tbsmahopac.org/test3.htm has Clone of Please Contact Me embedded into Expression Web source code. It looks good, but it's not centered on the page the way it would be if I just Embedded the single line of code like I did for http://tbsmahopac.org/MoreInformationFrmV2.htm.

I think it looks much better centered.

Also, as a side note...I use Roboform. When I use the single line of code, and then display the page in the browser, Roboform does NOT offer to fill it in. If I manually tell it to "Fill Form" it does so properly, but only if I ask.

If I embed your form for Expression Web, then Roboform behaves as usual and as soon as the page displays in the browser, Roboform offers to fill it in.

    I thought you'd be interested.

    Thanks,

    David

I see. So, you recommend using the one-line JavaScript code for Expression Engine. We will look into changing this in our Embed Form Wizard. Thanks for posting this. :)

Well, actually I think I might prefer the Expression Web code behavior, EXCEPT for the centering issue. So far, all of my forms are using the single line code, but it's seems easy enough to make the change after I/we resolve the centering issue.

I'm not totally opposed to making a minor adjustment on my end in Expression Web if that's what's needed, but I couldn't quite figure that out.

    Thanks,

    David
