How can I show empty fields on email notifications?

Asked by zebra10 on June 21, 2017 at 09:24 AM

I have made a questionnaire with about 20 questions. Many of them are not mandatory. I am putting in place an automatic processing of all the received forms. This requires a fixed format for the received email. Is it possible to have ALL the questions (including those not answered)  listed in the email I receive after the form is filled by a customer.

Yes. You may achieve that by setting the "Hide Empty Fields" option to "NO" in your email notification settings.

We have a guide on how to achieve that here: https://www.jotform.com/help/256-How-to-Hide-Empty-Fields-on-Email-Alerts

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance please let us know. Thank you.
