Need to create a form to input data into a spreadsheet, ideally it would have a drop down to pick the row (member name) and another drop down to pick the column (event name) so the data is entered in the correct space. New to JotForm, not sure where to even start...

You will need to design your form in the builder.
And then once it is active your submission data will be stored in your forms Submisson page.
You can export your submission data in Excel format:
