How can we auto-populate items in an Auto Complete widget?

Is there a way to automatically update the items that show in an auto complete widget?  For example, we are dumping our student names out from a database each hour and would like them to show in our jotform form.  However, right now all we can see is manually entering it into the form.  

Ideally we would like to connect the "items" in an autocomplete widget or other searchable field format directly to our MS SQL or MySQL database query.  

We are open to suggestions.  Attached is a screenshot of where the "items" I'm referring to are at.

Unfortunately this is not possible with jotform.

If you wanted this feature you would have to progam it with a server side script (like php/asp/jsp/etc)
