Also on the auto response email that is received by the administrator the uploaded images are not showing as the pictures but as links.  I need the actual pictures/images to be displayed so when the email is printed the photograph is printed.  It was showing on some of the emails but not on others - I need it to show on all the emails and need it to stay visible on there.

Images that need to be displayed on the email if uploaded are from the following fields on our form:

    * We require a head and shoulder photograph of each applicant

    * We require a head and shoulder photograph of your second person on permit

    * For Army personnel applications we require a copy of your service ID card....

    * For Student applications we require a copy of your student ID card....

    * Please upload copy of your current Disabled EA Rod Liense or

You may display the images in the email notification by adding the field in the format below.

    {IMG:fieldID:width:height}

Please see the screenshot below that can help you with changing the format in the email notification.

    Hope this information helps!

I have just tried this, apologies for the delay in coming back to you.

I am afraid I have tried this but it doesn’t work. It firstly comes up with a box which says to right click to download image and then when I do that the message below appears.

    Please could you assist further.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,

    Karen

I have checked your form and I can see you removed the "IMG" parameter that displays images in emails. I have cloned your form and just tested that, it seems to work on my end:

This is how it shows on the email:

Could you please try again and let us know how it goes?

Please, do not remove the "IMG" from the field's name and in case it does not work, let us know, we will be glad to further check it.

Also, do note that this will work with images only, if a different file type is uploaded then it will show as an image with broken link.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you.

What format do the images have to be in to show properly? i.e. jpg, jpeg, pdf, tif, gif etc If you could let me know which files can be uploaded and that will show on the email notifications I will change the formats allowed on the form properties. I can then also ensure we upload the correct file type whilst we are testing.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,
    Karen

All images formats that can be displayed in web will also be displayed in the email notification, here are 5 types of images: https://www.ivanexpert.com/blog/2010/05/the-5-types-of-digital-image-files-tiff-jpeg-gif-png-and-raw-image-files-and-when-to-use-each-one/

You will also find more image formats here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_file_formats

But do note that "pdf"  is not an image so this cannot be displayed in the email. You can also change the file types allowed on your upload fields by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/29-How-to-Change-the-Allowed-File-Types-in-the-Upload-Field

I would suggest you to test your form with a "png" image just to make sure it displays properly in the email.

Thank you I will have a look at the links you sent.

My forms still aren’t showing the image in the email that is sent after a submission is sent. The forms that I am trying to get working are https://form.jotformeu.com/71786838782375

I have checked the email history for your form https://form.jotformeu.com/71786838782375 and I can see the images are showing up properly in the "Notification 1" email where you have used "IMG":

Why are images showing as links in the email notifications? Image 1 Screenshot 20

You have a second notification that does not have included the "IMG" parameter and images are currently displaying as links on this email.

You could also check your email history on your end, this guide will help you doing so: How-to-View-All-Your-Form-Email-History

Could you please add the parameter (IMG) to all your notifications where you want the image displayed?

Let us know how it goes.
