Format of the calculation

    Wow! Not easy!!

I created number fields on my form to add amounts

First number is Qte(Quantity) and is just fine cause it needs round numbers in the input.

The second number may be a round number or it might be a number with two decimals because it is a price

And finally, the third number fields are for calculation for sub-totals or totals.

It took me a while to find the three dots that would lead me to a mathematical menu option under the condition tab

then it took me another while to realize that Mathematical functions options was not a sentence but two tabs

I then tought I found my solution and rejoiced BUT too quickly.

I went under options, clicked use commas for decimal point and since Decimal Places in Numerical Results was already set to 2, I clicked on save and voilà! But the voilà doesn't work. when I go back, it is unchecked

    Thank you for you help

Did you mean you want to have decimal places on the amount, as what you can see below?

Format of the calculation Image 1 Screenshot 30

If yes, then please check the option Show Empty decimal places.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Christian,

Whatever I click in the option menu, after saving, when I go back, everything is unchecked
So I either am able to have 12 in the subtotal or 1200 and both are not good for the project

    Thanks

Please try replacing the regular textbox fields with Form Calculation Widget. Using this widget will format the result with a decimal place, unlike the regular field which the result varies to the conditions.

Then, please fix the condition like this:

    Here's should be the result:

If you still can't able to get the decimal place on the result, please try clearing your form's cache. Here's the guide on How to Clear Your Form Cache?
