Error: "The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid."

    Hello,

I've created a form using the PayPal payment method (not PayPal Express nor PayPal Pro).

I left the 'IPN Relay URL' field empty since my understanding is that it's optional.

I've enabled the IPN in PayPal using https://www.jotform.com/ipns/paypal.php.

As soon as I select the product and click submit on https://form.jotform.us/10xblogger/paypal, PayPal returns this error:

"The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again."

I have edited my email address in JotForm to be the same as my primary PayPal email address, in case this was an issue but the same error message appears.

Any insights would be appreciated - thanks!

    Tissa

This usually happens when the email you provided in the PayPal integration was invalid. Check that you have the correct email address setup.

Thanks but where in the PayPal integration to do I check for correct email address setup?

As I mentioned, I did make sure the email address for my JotForm account is the same as my primary email address in PayPal, but the issue persists.

    Thanks,

    Tissa

You must make sure the email you supply for your PayPal Account setting is correct:

Thank you very much for that; it worked.  (I was making a mistake in that 'PayPal Account' field that I'm too embarrassed to admit :-))
