Can I adjust the payment for existing form submissions (Stripe integration)

My client has around 9 people who have signed up to join their wine club via their form: https://form.jotform.com/70115571625148

She forgot to include tax in the pricing amounts. We have not processed the payments yet (the form is integrated with Stripe).

My question is can we go in and adjust the pricing to include the tax amount and then process the payments? Is this possible to do after someone has already submitted the form?

(I know we can change the pricing for new subscribers moving forward, but can we do anything about the current ones?)

    Please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Neil

It looks like the only way to solve this problem is to refund your customers, setup your form correctly, and then take the payments again (including the taxes).

I spoke to Stripe support. And they say it is not possible to modify a payment once it has been submitted.

To solve this problem you can specify a tax for your form using this guide:

    Hi Aubrey,

Thanks for the quick reply. In this instance, the customers haven't yet been charged so the payment has not been processed.

    Does this change things?

    Thanks,
    Neil

You would be best off talking to Stripe support. They have chat support (bottom right hand corner), so they can give you a quick answer:
