Send emails later opted autoresponder are sending even the conditions are failed

Hi, I encounter an issue when people fill in the form and the need te get a reminder after some time to complete the form. This has been setup via a delayed form which is sent based on a condition.

- A "decision" email has been setup to be sent after 7, 14 and 30 days

- A condition has been created to send the mail only if the user has nog changed the condition to become a member.

So the purpose is to send the reminder email just in case the member did not make up his mind yet (and did not change the status)

Although this works in 90%, in several other cases, the mail is sent despite the fact that the status has been changed.

An example is member ietje@hotmail.com, where she (see email history) got the 14 days decision mail although she changed the status a week before.

12 jun - filled in form - status trial lesson (Proefles)
19 jun - decision email after 1 week
20 jun - decision made, status change to member (lid)
26 jun - decisie email after 2 weeks (this mail should not be sent)

What can be the cause? Type of browser used so script not completed?

I would really appreciate your help! It is a quite complex form 😉

I have cloned your form and it seems that the conditions are correct. However, I see that there are other conditions to change the value of the Status field.

Could you review the conditions and the submission to see if they are affecting the condition to send the email auto-responses? Also, please check if any other submission was affected the same issue and let us know the submission ID, so we can investigate the issue further.

Yes you are right. However the status is automatically updated as soon as a member changes their intention in “Wat doe je” I personally think this has to do with the sequence the conditions are handled by the system. In the old version one was able to change the sequence, however this is not possible anymore.
The logic is the the condition to send the ail is met, after which the condition to stop sending the mail is evaluated.
But maybe you can help me to learn how to change the sequence 😉

You can change the sequence of the conditions by dragging and drop them into position.

Example:

 

Please try also on your Form Builder. Let us know if this did not resolve the issue.

 

I just found out the sequence can only be changed in the initial view. As soon as you search a condition the sorting is not possible anymore. As I have a lot of conditions, so I always use the search option.
I will check whether another sequence solves the problem.
