    Hi there

I am developing a form which has a nicely formatted column and a qty in the 2nd column.

I would like to copy the text into another field if qty > 1

I have tried so many variations to get the field text field  text_9   to copy into a field at the bottom of the form if input_8 is > 0

    Please help

    Regards

    Cres

    Hi Cres,

Have you tried passing the field value to another field using the Update/Calculate conditions? You can check the full guide here on this URL: https://www.jotform.com/help/286-How-to-Pass-Field-Value-to-Another-Field

To my understanding, you want to copy the quantity and the text to another field? Please check my demo form if that's what you're trying to achieve. Here's the link: https://form.jotformpro.com/71795718977984

    Here's the screen animation test:

To check the conditions configuration and copy the demo form, please follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

    I hope that helps.

    Hi John

thank you for doing this and setting up a demo form.

Yes, i agree with you about the calc option and have tried it.  I noticed on your demo that you have manually copied the label text into the other field.

What i was trying to do is auto-copy the label for the source field into the target field

See in my clone of yours. I have changed the label of the top 2 fields to include the number 2.  Since you have manually copied the label this change is not reflected in your calc values.

Is there a way to use calc field to also copy the LABEL of a field?

    Regards

    Cres

That is not possible, it is only possible to copy fields value to another field, not the label from one field to another.
