I set up an application form under guest account. Recipient of the completed apllication currently goes to my email address - firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have now created a new account - ginnycoile. I want the completed application to go to a different email address: email@example.com. I have tried several times changing the email recipient under "Email Alerts" and it keeps reverting back to my email address.

That's odd because when I just checked the Recipient E-mail of the form in question it was indeed firstname.lastname@example.org. I don't know if one of my colleagues had already changed it for you by the time I examined it. Anyway, can you confirm that you're now seeing it as email@example.com too?

Well, that's weird. When I go into "email list", then "notification", and then click on "repy-to and recipient settings", it shows firstname.lastname@example.org as the email address. Yet, when I click "test email" it sends the test email to email@example.com????!!!!! I have done this several times and the email test continues to come to ginny.coile email even though the notification email is the puppy ladies email.
Can you figure this out? Thanks!

Have you tried as well deleting browser cache and cookies? If not, please give a try and if this isn't solve the issue also, try to create new notification and delete the first notification?

Yes, we have deleted the browser cache as well as cookies. We have also tried several times to create a new notification and deleting the first one. We have done this several times, as well as trying from a different workstation.
Here's the scenario (in case you get this problem again). I am creating the application, as well as making future changes to the form (firstname.lastname@example.org). However, when the application is filled out on our website, I want the completed application to go to a different email address (email@example.com), not to my email. So, there are TWO emails involved here.
My husband figured out how to fix this problem. It is not in the email alerts area and the notification menu - we've changed the email address there several times to no avail. You have to go to the "account settings" at the bottom of the page, and change the email address there (to the address where you want the form sent to).
You might want to make note of this, as everyone's been directing us to the "email alerts" menu, and that won't help. It needs to be changed in the account settings menu.

Yes , that is a good alternative, by default, the notification email will be created with the email address in the account settings. However, you have several options to try to.
1. You can always edit the recipient email address field.
2. You can also add more than one email address to that field, and separate it by a comma

I too have this problem where the recipient email address in the email notification is firstname.lastname@example.org but the test email will only go the address which is set up in the account settings (email@example.com).
I've tried the suggestions (1 & 2) mentioned above and this makes no difference. It'll only send to the address in the account settings.
I've been trying to solve this for ages now. Can you please please help me!

If you hit the test email button, your test notification will be send to your accounts default email. This change has been made to prevent spam. But we also would like to check your notification settings. Can you please open a new thread and provide us the form ID / URL?

Mine is doing the same thing. I am not getting any emails to go to the new address where I want this form's submissions to go. On the envelope looking page, I submit the new email address, press next, then pressed"test email" It sends an email right to my old email adress. I clean Caches and everything. I think it's getting my old email from mr being signed into jotform. I dont want to change my signin because I want all of my other emails to continue submitting to that address

May you please share to us your form URL so we can check your settings, sometimes setting up your email notifications to something we don't recommend would lead you not to received any notifications.
We always recommend to use firstname.lastname@example.org as Sendel E-Mail.

I have four application forms I use and each is to be sent to a different email address. All I can get them to do is mail to my personal addfress. I'm fed up with trying. It's practically impossible to find any help when one has a problem.
