    Answers received in wrong order

Asked by robburley on August 07, 2012 at 02:05 AM

Submissions from my form have started listing some of the answers in the wrong order.

The questions are in the correct order on the form:

    Departure city or airport:

    Arrival city or airport:

but the answers in the submission email are reversed:

    eg

    Arrival city or airport: London

Departure city or airport: New York

This is very confusing as we are arranging flights for our clients.

    Hi,

    On this...

    eg

    Arrival city or airport: London

Departure city or airport: New York

The person using the form can actually put any text on the Arrival or Departure text box field. The submissions and notifications will reflect what was inputted on those fields.(So, there is really no knowing if its reverse or not in order :-) )

What I can suggest you can do to have some kind of control on the information that will be provided on those field is to use a drop down field with selection values of your own choosing.

    See image below for example

Please inform us if you need further assistance on this.

    Thanks.

    Hi

The text box may be free text but the questions (departure city/arrival city) are also switching order in the email submissions.

    Hi,

I think I now understand what you were refering to.

In your form, the setup of the questions for Departure and Arrival is like this... Departure comes first.

However, in your 2 Notification emails you had it setup like this... Arrival was first.

So, the received notification email will follow the message setup in Notification... like this.

You can correct this by simply modifying/correcting the Notification emails and arranged the sequence of Departure/Arrival context in the message body.

Please inform us if you still encounter issue after updating.

    Thanks.
