    Email Notification: Plain text format is not working

    Hello,

    I am trying to integrate Jotform with an automotive CRM tool.  I created an XML/ADF formatted email.  What's happening is, after I remove all the source code so that I can create my XML/ADF email in plain text, jotform still converts the email to HTML which removes all of our XML/ADF formatting.

    When I receive the email, I see all the XML/ADF formatting.  I believe it's because my email is reading it in rich text.  When the CRM company receives it, they see all the HTML <P> tags which breaks the XML/ADF formatting.

    I attached a screenshot with the formatting I need to stay intact when submitted.

    I have a paid subscription with Jotform and I really hope we can figure this out.

    Sorry for inconvenience this may caused you.

    I was under the impression that emails can be sent in plain text.  When I put in the time to create the custom form with the coded email submission, Jotform converts my plain text email to html.  This is not good and it is causing me issues with a very good client.  I've been waiting for updates on other threads with the same concern.  What is the turnaround time for something like this?  Is it going to be implemented?  If not then I really need to know so that I can take my business elsewhere.  I apologize in advance for my frustrated tone.

    It says:

    "Note: If you are looking for a way to setup text only email, please do note that this is not possible any more. The new wizard will allow you to only change the HTML email, text only emails are actually no longer used as mobile devices are becoming more common and all can open HTML emails without issues."

    So what I suggest is maybe you could try switching to version 3 of the builder. And let us know if that works?

    Version 3 does the same thing.  I removed all the source code, pasted my code in plain text and it still converts to HTML.   I also tried pasting it into the source code.
