My form is not submitting?

    Asked on July 4, 2017 at 1:01 AM

    I have created an application but did not received any response (no one applied). I checked my application, fill it out as a sample and when I click the submit button at the end of the application, it gives me a warning to PLEASE WAIT and is not submitting. I did not find the problem in setting and the deadline of my application is getting nearer, thus I am having less time. I need an urgent help.

    Thanks for your consideration.

    Best Regards,

    Shah Zaman Rahimi

    Hi,

    first of all when I used chrome console with your form, when I tried to submit the form, I received the error:

    Blocked form submission to 'http://oembed.jotform.com/submit.php' because the form's frame is sandboxed and the 'allow-forms' permission is not set.

    Then, I tried your form from the address, https://form.jotformpro.com/71821290239455 it works fine.

    Then, I tried your form from the address, http://oembed.jotform.com/form/71821290239455 it works fine also.

    Then, I used the iframe embed code in the jot form on a local fine, and it also works fine.

    I believe there's something misconfigured in the way you used to embed an iframe into your website.

    I will keep looking for the error, in the next hour, hopefully it would be solved soon.

    Hi again,

    I believe it's an issue about wordpress

    I am still working on to find what's wrong.

    For starters, can you maybe try what's said on the link,

    https://www.jotform.com/help/174-Embed-JotForm-in-Wordpress-using-the-Embed-Form-Plugin

    I did what it was in the instruction and install it in plugin. What else do I need to do?

    Thanks

    Well, as it was said in the step 4 of the link,

    you can create a new page and add your jotform using the jotform pencil in the editor

    or you can just write [jotform id="71821290239455"]

    since that was the form for your first link

    and you can write [jotform id="71711093439456"]

    for the form in your second link

    Ok, so I have some good news,

    changing

    sandbox="allow-scripts"

    to

    sandbox="allow-forms allow-scripts"

    in iframe tag of your site

    (on my local computer)

    fixed the problem,

    so what you should probably do is,

    just find html settings in your wordpress

    find the iframe of the form

    and change

    sandbox="allow-scripts"

    to

    sandbox="allow-forms allow-script"

    Then, let me know, if the problem is still occuring.

    You don't need another plugin for that

    (You don't need to install the plugin link I sent in last message)

    I am sorry I could not find the setting for that.

    The second link that I shared was created by my colleague, should I/he follow the same process as mine? I hope that it is going to be fixed too.

    Thanks

    The text/visual part in the wordpress used to be HTML editor/Visual editor, that's why I said you to go to the HTML editor in wordpress.

    Anyways, good luck fixing your form.

    And let me know, if your problem is fixed.

    Hi again,

    Also as an alternative solution:

    From what I can see you have used the script in the form embed part,

    however, it is recommended to use the iframe part in the embed options to embed your forms,

    if you do so, there would be no issue with wordpress or else.

    Have a nice day
