Email Alert: Reply email on a generated thread like manner?

    Another quite crucial thing is when I get a JotForm <noreply@jotform.com> to my email the messages (replies) go inside the same thread, and I need all messages to be started as a new thread like JotForm 3VW35197GP5449533 aka JotForm + Transaction ID or something similar so to keep the messages with unique names as much as possible, so I can read them from atom without difficulty  ..

    I'm thinking.. perhaps if I could some how acquire the details straight to my application that will use credentials that would be even better, any tips, would be great!

    In my email alert setting, you can setup the "Subject" line.

    On my screenshot above, you can see that you can either select fields to add on your subject line or simply type them there. These are field tags that holds information on your form fields. If you want to make a unique email subject line per submission email, then you can use the submission ID. However, if you want to use the "Transaction ID" in PayPal, you can do that by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/231-How-to-Strip-Payment-Labels-and-Separate-Payment-Info-on-Email-Alerts.

    Just to share as an example, here's what my subject line is set: "Submission {id} - Transaction {myProducts:transactionid}". 

    This is how it looks like when I received the email alert:

    Hi Charlie,

    Thanks for the great help, I see there is a lot that can be done with jotform, kudos to all that are involved

    I'll post my last 2 questions for now, then I will have to do some more reading with all the links you pointed out to me from my first post, and then have some tests run until I come up with my next concern ..

    As to the "Custom Field" option is it possible to pre-insert and populate it with a direct executed link and have it disabled from edits

    As to submissions, are the messages sent to my email filtered only to status completed payments ? (using the paypal element ..)

    I have updated the email settings in my form, can you please take a look and see what might be wrong there, just tested, I didn't receive any message
