When duplicating fields I sometime get extra spaces that I cannot get rid of. How do these spaces happen in the first place? How can I delete them?

Thank you for contacting us.
When you duplicate some element it creates a duplicate near your original field, so that form layout is being changed.
I would like to recommend you to move the duplicated element to the right place once you create that duplicate element. In other words, duplicate --> move to the right place --> duplicate another field --> move it to the right place, and so on.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

I understand how to duplicate and how to move. The problem is that I cannot get rid of this space. I have tried to move the one on the line above down - but it just skips over the blank space and puts it in this "second" position. I've tried to "move up" the one that is in this second position, but it just moves to the line above. Don't know how this happened and don't know how to get rid of this space.

Found solution. Took the field that is in the wrong position - that is won't align left, crating a space - and moved it to a new line. The result was it moved to the left and the fields to its left and below, lined up on the original line.

I am glad to hear that you have found solution on this problem.
I think that duplicating-moving fields one by one may also help to get rid of that empty space.
