Field Names: How to make {UniqueNames} constant

We're posting to our thank you page, meaning the values of the forms get saved to our backend. However, it seems when rewording questions, these unique names change. How can we keep the unique names constant? It seems if I change the unique name, but then change characters in the question, the unique name gets modified automatically.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have an option to lock the unique field names.

I have attached a feature request ticket to this thread and forwarded it to our developers to see if this is something that can be implemented at some point.

There is no ETA, but we will let you know if we have any updates.
