Will downgrading affect my embedded forms?

Asked by ge01734 on July 07, 2017 at 04:45 PM

    Hi,

I needed to create 3 forms for my site. I have done that, and I have embedded the code on my website, and they are working. I do not need any other forms. Can I downgrade to the free version without it affecting the forms that I have embedded on my site.

    Thanks,

    Don

Hey Don - Sure, that won't be a problem.

    Complete guide: How-to-Downgrade-Subscription-Back-to-Free-Account

Feature-wise, anything a paid plan user can do, can be done by free plan users too. The only difference is the ability to remove the JotForm Footer branding which is solely available to paid plan users.

What you need to take note of are the limits per plan. You can find the complete breakdown on our Pricing Page https://www.jotform.com/pricing

To sum it up, on the Free Plan, you can:

    1. Create 5 forms (account-wide / lifetime)

    2. 100 Submissions (per month)

    3. 10 Submissions with Payments (per month)

    4. 100 MB Available Space (account-wide / lifetime)

    5. 1,000 Form Views (per month)

    6. 500 Total Submission Storage (account-wide / lifetime)

All monthly limits get replenished on the 1st day of each month.

It is safe to downgrade to the free plan in your case. The forms will be active even with the free plan.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

    Hi Mike,
I just tried to downgrade to the free version, but it thinks I am
cancelling. I do not want to cancel the service. I just want to downgrade.
It says cancel within 30 days and get a refund, which indicates to me that
it will remove any forms that I have created. I am not looking for a
refund, I just want to download without the thought of it possibly removing
all the work I put into those three forms.
Just to be safe, I'm thinking of letting another payment be deducted, then
    down grading.
    Thanks,
    Don

    Hello Don,

The cancellation there means that you will not continue with the upgraded subscription. Thus, downgrading and canceling are technically interchangeable terms with us. Your forms will not get deleted after the cancellation.

Feel free to let us know if you wish to cancel your subscription right away.

    Thanks.
