    Conditions on Dynamic Dropdown widget are not working correctly

    Please also review that "Choose Your Scout" shows a blank on the Table Report, and "Akela Email" shows the 2nd option from the Choose Your Scout Dynamic Drop Down field and not the third, which is chosen as a default when the 2nd option is chosen (which is what needs to be in "Akela Email").

    I have checked the form and see that the condition set on the field 'Choose Your Scout' to be copied to the next field. As I tested the condition and submitted the form, the condition is working as it should copy the entire value to the textbox field.

     

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to copy a value from a specific dropdown field in the Dynamic Dropdown widget. As I check the previous submissions, it seems that they were received before adding the widget or receiving using a different condition based on individual fields.

    Thank you.  That is an obvious and correct assessment.  I appreciate the observation.

     

    I need to be able to differentiate between the fields.  Is there a way to insert a delimiter?

    If you meant to differentiate between drop-downs in the Dynamic drop-down, I'm afraid that it is not possible. Since the widget acts as an independent field and you can not create conditions that will check the state of its fields.

    The only way to use conditions and check states of such fields would be to create them with regular drop-down fields:

    Like dropdown, short text entry etc.

    So, there is no way to obtain the email address in the third tier of this dynamic drop down for the purposes of autoresponding or other form logic???

    Unfortunately, yes. At this moment, there is no workaround to capture the data from a dropdown in the widget separately.
