I only have one form with no submissions but it shows that I have over 500 submissions.

I have been a paying customer for several years.  Now retired and supporting a community on a volunteer basis.

I now have one contact form, created today with no submissions but jot form is blocking me and saying i have over 500 submissions.  I try to download them and am presented with an empty folder .  These must be very old submissions.  What can I do?

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you. 

Please note that free account has submission storage limit of 500 submissions. I did check your account and found that you only have one active form with 2 submissions. The issue is that you have several forms in trash folder which has submission record. Please check the screenshot below:

Since free account has submission storage of 500 submissions, please delete it and that shoudl solve your warning problem. Please note that even if you do not delete your old submissions, it will automatically be deleted to accommodate the new submissions you receive.
