Email Notifications: Ability to attach Excel spreadsheets of form submissions data instead of PDFs

    Good morning,

I know you can select to have a PDF of the form submission data as an attachment, however we're looking to have an Excel of the form submission instead as the attachment. This way, we can upload each submission into our Salesforce database. Literally instead of that PDF attachment, we want an Excel attachment of form submission data.

Is there a way to do this? Please advise.

Otherwise, I would like to suggest this as a feature. Having an Excel spreadsheet with the form data auto send to our emails upon submission would allow us to easily add to our databases that share the same form field names. JotForm would be a major benefit to my firm if this is the case.

    Thanks,

    Rachel

As you have mentioned that you are working with JotForm and Salesforce at the same time, I wonder if our Salesforce integration have been presented to you before.

We have a guide on mastering Salesforce with JotForm here: https://www.jotform.com/help/321-Mastering-SalesForce-with-JotForm

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance please let us know. Thank you.

    Aidan,

Thank you! I am looking into this. However, for strictly email submissions, we would like the feature of having the Excel spreadsheet with the submission data as an option still.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you!

    Rachel

    You're quite welcome!

While the option to attach Excel spreadsheets with the submission data in email notifications is not currently available, I am escalating this as a feature request so our developers can look into it.

Please note that I cannot make any promises about the outcome, nor am I able to deliver an ETA. We will be notified of any progress via this thread.
