Form confirmation not appearing because of scroll issue

Asked by jfullan on August 10, 2012 at 02:52 PM

    Hello,

With several of the longer forms we've embedded on our site, there's an issue with the confirmation message. When you've scrolled to the bottom of the form and click submit, the confirmation message appears at the top of the page, which is no longer visible because you're at the bottom. Thus to some people, it appears their form didn't submit (because it's just a dark blue screen from our page background). Is there something I could add to the embed code, that would return the page to the top upon form submission?

Feel free to duplicate the problem by submitting the form (no fields are required, so you can just scroll down and click submit).

    Thanks!

    Hello Jesse,

Try something like this just beneath the <body> tag:

    <span id="top"></span>

And then make a link like so:

    <a target="_blank" href="#top">Top of Page</a>

Hope this helps or if you need more help let me know.

    Sincerely,

    - Kade M.

    Hi Jesse,

Can you please try adding a "nojump" option in the form embedded script code.

    Like this...

    Example:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotform.com/jsform/xxxxx5?nojump"></script>

xxxx5 is the form ID, replace it with yours
Please update us if this does not resolve the issue.
    Thanks.
