I go to the email button & press
This takes me to a window that says which of two types of email I want
Takes me to a postcard looking thing, change the email address on that, press test email
and email sent to original email address
How to change

Please change the email address currently in your account settings and let us know if that helps.

I have the same problem. It worked when i changed the email in the account settings. whats wrong?

That's the way the Test Email button works: It only sends to your account's email address. I realize that one would think that the whole purpose of the button is to check if the address or addresses specified in the notification can receive alerts of submissions.
I can't recall if a ticket was submitted about this apparent oversight but I'll check.
