The avg() function is not working

On our survey the individual fields are calculating correctly, but the Average field doesn't seem to work. Not sure what I'm missing here. (Note, formula currently only includes two fields for simplicity.)

The comma in between the 2 fields that you're averaging is set as a string (text). To fix this, just click the comma so the background changes from brown to black (string to number).
