Show fields depending on the selected checkbox

Hi,  I am inquiring on the If/then feature.  I have one field that is a checkbox with approx 12 boxes.  I also have a dropdown with several different companies listed.  Is there a way if a certain company is selected to have 6 of the boxes appear?  In my trial of this product, it appears all the items will need to be in its own field.  Looking forward to hearing back from you.
