How to up my jotform?

I have cloned my form and made the updates to it.  Do I have to rebuild my originally published form or can I rename my cloned form to the original name and then that form be automatically published?

Since you have cloned your original form, it created a new form in your account. And, since you have updated the cloned new form, it is required to get the embed code/Form URL to share with your users. If you want to remove the old form and display the new form, please try removing the old embed code on the web page and then publish the new form. The previously embedded/shared URL would work with the original form only.
