Is there a widget/field that allows users to copy table fields from Excel, Word or any other table format and paste them into the form?

    Hi!

We need a way to let our users to easily paste a table format infroamtion into our form.

We have checked the following fields/widgets: Matrix, Matrix dynamique, Spreadsheet and Configurable list, but al of them need to be populated field by field, so users can't paste the table entries direcly from their sources (i.e. Word, Excel, html).

Our form is intended to collect passenger lists from a variety of users, and it is very likely that they will have their own lists in Excel, Word, or any other table formats. We are looking for a field that allows users to copy the whole source table fields, and paste them, or at least that let users copy and paste entire rows or columns.

For example, lets say a user has the following table in a word or excel file:

Name Last name ID Year of birth
    john doe 76575 1982
    mary doe 442324 1978
    fer doe 432432 1977
    kathe doe 4324 1956
    pete doe 75675 1983
    sandra doe 876796 1990

We would like the user only to copy and paste the fields contents and paste the into the form so he/she doesn't have to re-type every field of to copy and paste them one cell at a time.

Is there a way to this? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, JotForm only allows to enter the information in the widget, you could find multiple entries widget here: https://widgets.jotform.com/category/multiple_entries

There is only one widget that allows to upload a spreadsheet, but it needs to be done from the form builder, I would suggest you to take a look on the following guide in order to understand how that works: https://www.jotform.com/help/442-How-to-Use-the-Spreadsheet-to-Form-Widget

Alternatively, you may allow your users to upload the file with the data they need to send you, this guide will help you creating a file upload form: https://www.jotform.com/help/332-How-to-Create-File-Upload-Forms

    I hope this helps.
