    Dropbox integration will not show all the uploaded files in Dropbox Folder

    Hello,

    I have a form for uploading files. It is linked to my dropbox account. The account has 80GB left of space.

    When someone uploades 220 files my jotform admin shows everything correct but my dropbox only shows 60 images.

    Is there a setting that i should change?

    Jasper,

    We're sorry that this problem had to occur on your end. I don't think there is something in your Dropbox account settings that could have caused this, but we will investigate the issue so it can be avoided in the future.

    Can you please log in to Dropbox.com and check if the missing files are there?

    Hello Neil,

    The files are aso not on my dropbox.com.

    Thank you for you investigation.

    It looks like the missing files are random.

    file1 is missing
    file2 is in my dropbox
    file3 is missing
    file4 is missing
    file5 is in my dropbox

    And so on

    My first thought is that communication between jotform and dropbox is cuasing these problems.

    Do you understand my explination?

    That is a highly likely scenario. I am not in the position to say what exactly happened but if some files were successfully sent to your Dropbox account, then I am more inclined to think that the cause of the problem is on Dropbox's end.

    I will have to do some tests to try to replicate this occurrence and prove or disprove my conclusion above. I will update you soon as I gather some information.

    In the meantime, please monitor your form's Dropbox integration. If this problem occurs again, contact us immediately and we'll forward a ticket to our development team.

    Hello Neil,

    The dropbox link keeps on giving false results. Is there a button to download all available images from a submission? That way i can manually put them on my dropbox.

    Hi Jasper,

    The uploaded files are also saved within JotForm servers together with the submission unfortunately though there is no button to download all of the files at the same time. You can export the submissions so that it would be easier to download the attached fileds in the submission.

    After conducting tests, we found out that this is a bug with our Dropbox integration system. Our developers have been made aware and are now on the process of investigation.

    We will post updates as soon as it gets fixed.

    Just great wasting money on jotform, when its not even working as it is supposed to.

    Same problem for me also. My main dropbox folder at my computer shows that all files uploaded. But i couldnt see this files at my web folder and linked labtop.

    In this case you may submit a help request to Dropbox Support Team to find out why the files are not showing up on your web folder.

    Hi. I'm experiencing the same problem, even with few files: form 3-4 files, only 1-2 are transferred to Dropbox, however, when I check the submissions in Jotform, the files are there. The issue happens at random.

    Hope that the developers solve this issue soon.

    Our developers is already aware of the issue so I am sure that they have time to look into this. We will let everyone know if there are updates.

    For the meantime and while waiting for the updates, please try re-integrating the form to dropbox. This might help.

    Having the same issue here.  I can't beleive that after 6 months this bug isn't worked out :(

    This thread was originally initiated by jasperbugter reporting that Dropbox integration will not show all the uploaded files  

    I am opening a ticket on this thread. But I would recommend those of you having the same problem to open a separate thread to report the same problem . Please open it with the same Title of this one "Dropbox integration will not show all the uploaded files in Dropbox Folders"

    This way we will let our developers to know that there is an increasing number of people reporting the same problem

    Just opened a new thread.  I chose jotform because of the dropbox integration.  I need you to fix it or I need to find another solution.  I can't have 75% of the files not making it through on some submissions. I put the details in the new thread I posted a few minutes ago. 

     

    Please prioritize this as a must fix, showstopper bug.

    I am having the same problem.  Only a portion of my jpegs are getting through and it's very random.  They are on my desktop Dropbox, but when I go to dropbox.com, they are not all there.  I have tried resubmitting with no luck.  Are the developers still working on this one year later?

    Our developers have already marked this issue as resolved. Can you please try reintegrating your dropbox and see if it resolves the issue.
