How to add a private download link?

Hello, I was viewing this as a potential solution above to provide a download link. I have an order form on my web page. it saves uploads to Dropbox. It will not integrate with Paypal since it says on settings that JF does not create 2 payment types on one form. I assume this product page/ "order form' template is considered a payment form although it does not ask for payment.

In any case, I was hoping to provide seeing the example above, the customer with a link that is available when I finally complete the product submission (transcription); or to provide a link to a download page. However, payment is posted upload and not immediate. it does not appear you can apply a payment via PayPal for instance (or a portal) to this link method above. Is there any suggestion how to create a private link from the submission information? I have the form at http://talkingleaves.zohosites.com/ under the "request transcript' tab. Thank you.

I maybe should post this elsewhere, I viewed other instructions at https://www.jotform.com/help/431-How-to-Add-a-Downloadable-File-to-Your-Form#_

I hope this is relevant, not too long winded or confusing. I really like the site builder. Thank you.

From how you described it, you wanted to add a private downloadable link that will only be available after form submission. The guide you included on your post should cover the things you need to achieve this.

    Complete guide: How-to-Add-a-Downloadable-File-to-Your-Form

However, what's important to know are the following:

    1. Is the link/URL readily available, meaning do you have it regardless if you use JotForm or not?

    2. Is it a static or a dynamic link?

2a. If it's a static link, you can just add it on the Thank You page using the guide above.

2b. If it's dynamic and relies on the actual form submission (e.g. the URL is different based on a form field), then you'd need to explain to us how you're generating your link so we can help you.

For Step 2a above, refer to Section C of the guide to learn how to insert a downloadable link to your Thank You page. In theory, the download link should be private since the only person who will see that is the one who submitted the form.

In case we misunderstood your question, just get back to us with a bit more info and a clearer description of what you're trying to do so we can better assist you.
