Hidden field is showing on the form

Hi

I have a field labelled deposit that is hidden on this form titled HP Event Registration (https://eu.jotform.com/build/42014720251338)

However, the customer is able to see & edit this field which is causing the form not to connect with our payment system.

Please can you look into this?

I have checked your JotForm and see that the Deposit field is set to be hidden. However, there are two conditions set on the form to be hidden which seem to be overriding the field property.

Please note that it is not required to hide the field from the field properties when it is displayed based on a condition. In order to resolve the issue, please follow the steps below:

1. Uncheck the Hide field option from the field properties.

2. Now, add a new rule to the condition that is set to hide the Deposit field as below:

When the form is loaded, there are no options selected by default for the Payment field which is displaying the Deposit field. This new rule hides the field when no option is checked. The condition should be displayed as

This should show the Deposit field only when Deposit is selected for the Payment Method field.
