I have some questions about attachment files to an email autoresponder that a person gets after clicking submit:

    1.  How many files can we attached?

    2.  What is the size limit of each file?

    3.  What is the size limit per email?

    4.  What are the file types can we attach?

    5.  Can I attach a .zip file?

    1.  How many files can we attach?

    - You can only attach 1 file per autoresponder email. Please take note that you can have up to 10 autoresponder emails per form.

    2.  What is the size limit of each file?

    - The limit is not per file. It is being counted as a total file size of the email message with attachments.

    3.  What is the size limit per email?

    - It depends on the email provider the user is using. In Gmail, you can only receive a maximum of 25MB per email. In Verizon, it is only 20MB. I recommend you limit the file size to 15MB.

    4.  What are the file types can we attach?

    - pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, gif

    5.  Can I attach a .zip file?

    - Yes, you can attach a ZIP file.

I just tried attaching a zip and it gave me an error message that said "unsupported file type".  Why is that? The zip file is only 10.1 MB

We apologize for the confusion. Multiple attachment via email including zip/archive files is not yet supported. You can only attach 1 file excluding zip file format.

I will forward this thread to our higher team support as a feature request ticket. We will notify you here once this feature is available.

    Thank you.

I have NOT asking to have multiple attachment feature to one email.  I can't even attach 1 zip file.  This is what I need help with immediately.  I am marketing right now and need this asap.  Need help with attaching even 1 zip file.

I think you misunderstood what I meant by multiple attachment including zip/archived files. If its in archived form like winzip (.zip) or winrar(.rar) and contains only 1 file or 1 zip file only, it still will not work. I apologize for that.

Currently .zip file type is not supported in the email attachment. Although it maybe only 1 zip file, the file type itself is the one not supported.

    I submitted a feature request here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1208487

The request is to allow the possibility of attaching file in the email with .zip file format.
