    Hi.

When I get the email notification it comes with the links for the images uploaded. But when i click on them they just open in my browser. I need them to download to my computer ans it happens with the standard JotForm file upload function.

    Any ideas?

    Hello zeajorge,

Please note that when a file is uploaded using "File Uploader by Uploadcare" widget, it returns a file URL which can be used to manually download the file. Please check the screenshot below:

    Thank you!

    ashwin_d: Hi.

I know how it works ... use the standard JotForm File Uploader all the time.

When using the JotForm upload and I get the URLs, I click on them and the automatically download to my computer (I never have to right-click + save image as).

With the widget, the URLs do as you explain: open the image in my browser and I have to save each one individually.... but this take a lot of time because each of my upload sessions has 25 images so it is double work

Is there a way to get the widget to work as the standard  for and provide direct download link instead of link to open the file.

    ______

Even better if we could get a link to download all files submitted at once (maybe as a Zip)

    Hello zeajorge,

I would suggest you to please take a look at our "Image Upload Preview" widget and see if that fits into your requirement. It will allow you to download the file once you click on the file URL.

If you want to receive the uploaded file as attachment in email, the only option is to use regular file upload field and then configure your notification email alert to send file attachment by enabling "Send Uploads as Attachment". Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any question.

    Thank you!

It doesn't allow me to select multiple files to upload.
Is there a way to do multiple images at once?
    Thanks

    Hello Jorge,

Please note that  "Image Upload Preview" widget does not allow to upload multiple file. The only option is to use regular file upload field and configure it to allow multiple upload. Please check the screenshot below:

That is the one I currently use, but need a solution that offers preview
and user can arrange them in a particular order.
    Testing Uploadecare.
They (uploadcare) sent me instructions that will allow me to download
all files as an archive but I don't know what to do with the instruction
    (not techie).
This is what they sent me: . "if you're using multi-upload widget, you
can get the files as archive":
    https://uploadcare.com/documentation/cdn/#archive
But I don't know how or where to enter this.
I want it to download as a .zip (supported by uploadcare).

When the image is uploaded you can preview it and add more images of course:

Here is my test form: https://form.jotformpro.com/72165768486976

Please check and let us know could that work for you?

    Thank you!

    Nick hi.
This I know how to do ... what I need is to set it up so when I get the
Submission Notification email, I get the images as a .zip file and not
    individually.
Uploadcare sent me this link for instructions as to how to set it up,
but I don't know how or where to put the code in the instructions.
This is what they sent me: . "if you're using multi-upload widget, you
can get the files as archive":
    https://uploadcare.com/documentation/cdn/#archive - but I don't know how
    to set it up.
    Thanks J.

I'm sorry, but that seems to be a bit technical. I find no sufficient information in the given link on how to put files into an archive for bulk downloading. I tried adding ARCHIVE = true; in the global settings, this doesn't seem to work.

You may consider reaching Uploadcare support again on how to implement such archive in the global settings of the Jotform UploadCare widget.
