On the form that you will create, please add or see to it that you have an email address field. You will use this field for your autoresponder email and this email will be sent to your client.

Here is a guide on how to create autoresponder emails: https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Setting-Up-an-Autoresponder-Email

Next, on the autoresponder email settings, see to it that you have an edit link in the body/content. Here are the steps on how to add an edit link on your email autoresponder settings:

    1) Edit your form and click Settings

    2) Click Emails on the left panel

    3) Choose your Autoresponder email. If this does not exist yet, create a new one as provided on the guide from the link I have given above.

    4) On the Email tab, click on the content where you wish the edit link to appear

    5) Click Form Fields on the content editor's tool bar

    6) Click Edit Link. This should then show up an {edit_link} text on your email body content

Lastly, scroll down and save your settings.

    Thanks.

hi, thank you for the answer.  it quite help me. but i dint want disturb their email.

Lets say the situation are like this.

Every single of my client have their own id.

For the first step they need to enter their details, background and so on. They need to fill their name, age, gender, passport no. and so on

So, for the second step they need to update their progress on some work.

For the second step I want create a new form which when client fill their passport number, i want just some basic data that they fill will appear by itself and they can update what are they want.

Any idea? I want use the unique id but i cannot make the id become seen to the client. If the unique id can replace as passport number and the client can see the id.its seems better to me

We appreciate you providing us more information about your requirements. To my understanding, you would like to have the submitted data from a form to appear on another form when your clients/users entered their ID (Passport ID). We would like to apologize for any inconvenience, however, the feature you are looking for is not available. Also, I believe, this can only be achieved by sending your clients through email a link to the other form that is pre-filled through URL parameters with data from the initial form they filled up.

If you have other questions or concerns regarding this, please feel free to contact us again anytime.
