Can I have "required fields" only inhibit the final submission, instead of changing pages?

Currently I notice that if any required fields are not completed then users are unable to change pages. I was hoping that our users could move freely from page to page, then if they try to submit without filling out all required fields, the missing items warning will be alerted.

I this possible?

Our forms will be quite long, and thus users may want to only partially fill out various sections before moving onto another section.

Add form tabs widget in your form then set yes on "Allow navigation without validation". This will allow your users to switch pages without triggering the required validation. Required validation will, however, be triggered when the submit button is clicked.
