Not allowing me to do a coupon code

    Hi, im trying to do a.coupon code that will discount 100% of all products and shipping. The code works in the form, then doesnt allow to checm out. The same error message appears. I have done other coupon codes that work, only this 100% discount is giving me trouble.

    Hi,

    Please note that the error states that the charge was unsuccessful and it seems to be specific to the credit card you are using.

    Could you please share us a sample inputs you are doing? Please note that the coupon code will ONLY apply on the product AND not on the shipping fee. Here's a sample input I made, you can see I will still pay $9.00. 

     

    If the credit card you are using cannot be charged, then I presume that is the reason why you are seeing the error message. 

    I did try it on my end, I create a form with products, coupon code and a shipping rate on it. Here it is: https://form.jotformpro.com/72131296828965. My coupon code is VVS80 and will discount 100% on the products, except for the shipping fee. This is in test mode and I'll be using a valid test credit card, it worked and submitted on my end. And I can see that my test credit card was charged successfully. 

     

    Please let us know if I am missing something.

    Right now I had to leave the the shipping because of the error message. Can
    you try creating a code that discounts the entire bill 100% please. The
    error code does not seem to be the credit card as multiple people had the
    same problem.

    Hello, I cloned your form and tested in the test mode of the payment field. I can succeed on submission.

     

    As my colleague said, the error is with the payment, there occurs no error related to the form and submitting process. Please try to gain more details about the issue from Stripe and turn back to us with the details.

    In addition to that, I will forward your request as a feature request to our team. We will add this to our to do list. We will notify you when this feature is implemented.
