How to embed live Sheet in my form?

    Hello JotForm

Thanks for creating the Spreadsheet to Form Widget.

However – I am wondering if there is a way of using a “live” spreadsheet, rather than importing a “static” spreadsheet into the form.  In other words, rather than import a spreadsheet which after it is imported, the data is no longer updated, could we use a “URL” to a live spreadsheet, so that we don’t have to keep downloading a fresh spreadsheet each time we want to use the form for the next workshop?

OR – is there some way to automatically update the downloaded spreadsheet with new data?

Sorry if my question is not artfully worded– but I hope you get the idea.

I look forward to your answer.

    Don

One way possible to get data from Workshop 1 form to be able to be transferred to Workshop 2 form by making use of the spreadsheet to form widget.

    https://widgets.jotform.com/app/spreadsheet_to_form

This is a newly created widget which the spreadsheet data can prepopulate fields on your form once they enter a keyword such as an ID. So the idea that I could think of here is that once you're done with your first workshop, you can get the Excel data of your submissions, trim the data and use it for your 2nd form that shall prefill the fields upon having a matching information.

The only way you could do that is to embed the Spreadsheet in your form. Here is how you can do that:

    1) Click File-Publish in Google Sheets:

    2) Copy the URL that is under src tag in Embed tab:

    3) Add iFrame embed widget to your form:

    And paste the above URL:

The changes in Sheet should reflect the embedded sheet.

Please let us know how that worked for you.

    Thank you!
