Not sure if I understood your concern here. I cloned your form and I can switch from preview to editing mode without any problems. Here's a screencast of it:

You are able to change Jotform versions. Go to your account settings and simply switch version as seen below:
Note that the system updates version 3 to version 4 in every 24 hours automatically . If you have another problem, let us know.
