I downloaded the Take Photo Widget and when I take a photo, it doesn't upload to my form. When I make the Take Photo required, then take a picture and click submit, it says I didn't upload a picture. The widget doesn't seem to function.
Also, I changed the settings to default to the front facing camera and it doesn't default to this. I am hoping you are able to help resolve this.Page URL:

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this is causing you. I have created a clone version of your form, however, I can't seem to reproduce the issue you are having.
Please note that after taking a photo, there is an upload button that appears at the bottom-right corner of the widget that needs to be clicked to completely upload the photo.
Setting the widget to open the front camera by default also works on my end. Please make sure that you click the Update widget button from the widget settings after you set the option to "Front".
May we know the device you were using when you encounter the issues you described, please? Also, can you please provide us the browser you used?

- brettbissellAnswered on August 04, 2017 at 10:43 AMHello Mike, thank you for the reply. I am using an iPad with the most recent up to date version. I have been using Safari and Chrome with the same results.
Now after your email Safari shows the buttons you have pictured at the bottom but did not previously show. I am able to upload now in Safari. Chrome still does not show this button.
Under both browsers I am unable to have the front facing camera default even after clicking the update widget button. Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

I have been testing your form using an iPad Air 2 and I can see the widget works with Safari:
I have also tested using Chrome and it seemed to work as well:
I have already cleared your forms cache, could you please test your form again?
Also, does the issue only happen with iPads or does it work when you test using an iPhone?
Please let us know.

I tested on the iPad and iPhone and neither default to front facing camera.

I have asked one of our colleagues to test the form on iPhone. He was able to confirm that the widget is displaying a message to start the camera.
Once it is clicked it is opening the back camera. As I check the form, the widget is set to open the Front camera by default. I am forwarding the issue to our backend team to take a look for further investigation. Once we have any information in this regard, we'll update you here.

Hello, we have our Take Photo widget set to default to front facing camera however it defaults to the rear facing camera.
We are using Safari on an iPad. Please help however you can. Appreciate the assistance.

Hi we have to apologize but on iOS devices, safari browser does not fully support WebRTC yet. So swapping of camera or having a live feed of camera might not going to work well. That is also the reason why we made an alternative for iOS devices, where you can "Take a photo" or attach something from your "Gallery". It also stated on the widget parameter "The default camera facing when there are 2 or more camera devices available. Specially on mobile that supports webRTC.". I'm closing this ticket as the problem is out of reach. I hope you understand.
