I have a form that has a document upload field.

    1. How will the attachment be displayed in the submission table on the webpage (iframe) e.g. links

    2. can the user upload another document via the edit link if they wish to?

Would it override the existing attachment or add to it?

    Hi,

I'm checking your email address but I can't see any JotForm account associated with it.

Could you please provide us the JotForm form you are working on?

To learn more about the file uploads, please do check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/332-How-to-Create-File-Upload-Forms

We also have special fields called widgets, you can check the widgets associated with file uploads on this page: https://widgets.jotform.com/category/file_upload. To add a widget on your form, you can follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form

    With regards to your questions:

    1. How will the attachment be displayed in the submission table on the webpage (iframe) e.g. links

If the files are images, they will display as an image in the submissions page. If they are not images, they will display as downloadable links. However, if you are using widgets for the file upload, then they might behave differently compared to the default file upload field.

    2. can the user upload another document via the edit link if they wish to?

Would it override the existing attachment or add to it?

    There are two cases here:

Case 1: If you are using the default file upload field and it is set to accept only a SINGLE file upload, then during on editing the submission using the edit link, it will be overwritten.

I have a form that has a document upload field Screenshot 20

Case #2: If you enable the "Multiple Files" option in the default file upload field, then it will accept new files and add them in the submission when editing, it will not remove the previous one.

I suggest exploring our form builder and create forms in your end to see how it works better :)

    I hope that helps.
