What is the difference of "monthly submissions" and "total submission storage?"

What is the difference of "monthly submissions" and "total submission storage?" Also, would it make a difference on the total submission storage if i deleted the submissions that i have already downloaded? Thank you!

"Monthly submissions" are the answers that your forms in your account receive only monthly. At the beginning of each month, this counter will reset and start from 0 again.

"Total submission storage" counts every single submission you have received since you have opened the account. 

If you delete any submission, both monthly submissions and total submissions count are going to be reduced. So, if you have downloaded all submissions, you can delete all of them and the limits will be reset.
